Location: Detroit Lakes American Legion Hall, 810 West Lake Drive, Detroit Lakes, MN

Date & Time: Noon on Sunday January 17, 2010

AGENDA:

  1. Approve Minutes of April 25, 2009 and October 18, 2009 (5 minutes)
  2. Presentation – Registrar training – Ranae Orr, Director of League Operations for MYSA will conduct registration training for all new and seasoned club registrars concurrent with our district meeting -  please confirm your club participation with Don Cox.
  3. Update club contacts (5 min)
    1. New volunteers and/or current ones
  4. Update from December and January Competitive Committee and Board of Directors meetings (30 min)
  1. 2010 summer season (60 min)
    1. Scheduling options –

a.     Weekends – none at all? Two games? Same as usual?

b.    Only two games per week?  More practice time-less games?  Start games in May?

c.     Use “American-National” league grouping to cut travel?

    1. Number of games; home-away ratio – same mix?  Different mix?
    2. Number of fields per site – how many games could be handled?
    3. Exhibitions – scheduled early in season
    4. League parameters worksheet – update dates – send out by Feb. meeting
    5. Neutral Site Agreement update
    6. Play-off Options – full slate or district only
